Bain Capital’s impact investing business, Bain Capital Double Impact, announced their plans to combine the recently acquired Arosa and LivHOME regional healthcare companies to make a premier national in-home care provider for older Americans. Both companies will maintain their focus on professionalizing direct care jobs while celebrating the work of caregivers, and continuing to create new standards of care in the industry.

“The marriage of these two companies, combined with Bain Capital’s extensive experience supporting healthcare providers, presents a unique opportunity to transform the in-home care industry,” said Ari Medoff, CEO and owner of Arosa. “This partnership allows us to provide higher quality personalized care to clients, as well as improve professional development opportunities for caregivers. We are thrilled to work together with the Bain Capital Double Impact team to raise the bar for the industry.”

Since its founding in 1999 LivHOME provides a personalized suite of in-home care and care management solutions thanks to a network of senior care managers operating in California, Illinois, and Texas. Arosa was established in 2012, and leveraged its operational infrastructure to diversify through its Developmental Therapy Associates and Nurse Care of North Carolina operating affiliates. Arosa specializes in non-medical in-home care, facility staffing, pediatric therapy, and skilled in-home care in eastern and central North Carolina.

The new combined company has Medoff as its leader, and is actively seeking out high-performing sales talent and add-on acquisitions of high-quality care management companies.
