On June 4th, dignitaries, founders, and practitioners of Blockchain technology will gather at the United Nations Plaza to learn about Blockchain for Impact (BFI), an advocacy platform that joins leaders from the UN to solve many modern-day issues. NASGO, a fast-growing blockchain, will participate on a panel that will discuss how tokenization is making blockchain more readily available and useful to users looking to further humanitarian goals.
NasGive, a humanitarian outreach program created by NASGO, is used to provide sustainable social impact known as Blockchain with a heart. Co-founder of NASGO, Eric Tippetts, will speak on how making Blockchain available to organizations and governments around the world supports philanthropy goals, such as NasGive.
The company is also using tokenization to help leading musical artists create uniquely branded digital tokens that connect fans directly with the celebrity and promote VIP experiences. This method reshapes the industry model, enabling artists and creators to conserve more income, as well as fostering a more transparent and open space to advance social causes with the additional revenue the Blockchain helps to create.
“We are excited to see NASGO leading the community in using the technology they’ve developed to drive social change,” said Sergio Fernandez de Cordova, Vice-Chairman of the Blockchain Commission for Sustainable Development and host of the panel on which Tippetts will speak. “As BFI progresses, the program will continue to celebrate the pioneers and leaders who are using their technology and their reach to drive SDG related impact to every part of the world.”
