Twelve of 23 cohort members are based in U.S.

Twenty-three members of the Morgan Stanley Inclusive Ventures Lab cohort are pitching today to an audience of over 300 investors, potential partners, and customers.  The disruptive technology-enabled startups are being showcased at its Demo Day, following their five-month participation in the Labs’ accelerator program.

Each cohort member receives a $250,000 investment (£250,000 in Europe, Middle East and Africa aka EMEA) from Morgan Stanley with a variety of mentorship opportunities and business-growth resources. Companies represent a range of industries including healthcare, customer service, supply chain, recruiting, and cybersecurity – with AI and sustainable solutions as cross-cutting themes.

Since its founding in 2017 the Morgan Stanley Inclusive Ventures Labs has established a track record of success. The accelerator has hosted 92 companies, with a combined valuation of $923MM and having raised $217MM in funding following their participation in the Lab.

Of the 23 current cohort members, 12 are U.S. based.  They are:

ByFusion: offers a Micro Diversion Platform (MDP) that can consistently convert all types of plastic waste into a high-performing, advanced building material called ByBlock®.

 DotLab: is a women’s healthcare technology company bringing to customers DotEndoTM, a breakthrough, non-invasive, blood test that aids in the diagnosis of active endometriosis.

Encounter AI: is an AI solution providing increased staff capacity and productivity.

FLUIX: provides autonomous AI for infrastructure that saves up to 40% in energy costs.

Health in Her HUE: is a digital platform that connects women of color to culturally competent and sensitive healthcare providers who are committed to providing culturally sensitive and empathetic service.

MEDIjobs: is the leading permanent job platform for outpatient healthcare and dental professionals ·

Nopalera: is a bath and body collection powered by Mexico’s Nopal cactus.

Partsimony: helps hardware companies turn designs into products with less time, money, and frustration.

serviceMob: is an AI-powered data ontology and analytics platform designed specifically for Customer Service & Support across every industry.

Stak Mobility: Compact vehicle storage and highly scalable Level II EV charging capabilities offering an optimal experience via secure software for a simple and seamless management 

Tall Poppy: has the expertise in inclusion, HR, and security to provide support, with no strain to HR and security teams.

Twipes: is the world’s first flushable wet wipes.

The next cohort of 25 companies for the Inclusive Ventures Lab will begin in September and applications are now being accepted from February 7 – March 15, 2024, with a focus on businesses led by overlooked founders providing sustainability-focused products or services. In addition, Morgan Stanley will hold pitch competitions in various cities in North America and EMEA, seeking out the best candidates for the upcoming cohort.
