The Best 50 Women in Business awards program honors New Jersey’s most dynamic women in business that have been making headlines in their field. An independent panel of judges selected the top 50 winners based on their dedication to business growth, professional and personal accomplishments, community involvement, and advocacy for women. All winners live or work in New Jersey and hold significant decision-making authority in their companies.
Margaret and the other women leaders will be honored at an awards ceremony on Monday, March 24, 2014 at The Palace at Somerset Park in Somerset, NJ. The event will feature wisdom from Margaret and the other honorees on topics ranging from a “gift” to New Jersey for its 350th birthday to stress busters at work.

Margaret is a leader in the Women Presidents’ Organization (WPO) and Women Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC). In 2013, she joined the prestigious Women’s Enterprise Leadership Forum, representing WPEO (Women Presidents’ Educational Organization) NY, which drives the success of all WBENC-certified Women’s Business Enterprises (WBEs) through education, opportunities and resources.
Margaret and Coranet are strongly committed to the New Jersey community. Through Coranet this past summer, for example, dozens of youth throughout New Jersey enjoyed attending the New York Liberty women’s professional basketball games at The Prudential Center in Newark. Margaret actively supports other woman business owners in New Jersey. For example, Margaret was a panelist at an event hosted by Chubb and sponsored by Leading Women Entrepreneurs and the WPEO/WPO to encourage ambitious women business owners to certify their company and expand their business growth opportunities. Margaret has also volunteered at Newark Academy, Overlook Hospital in Summit’s TWIG, and participated in American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life in Chatham.
