The agenda for the inaugural IoT Slam 2015 has been released by the Internet of Things community. The virtual conference event, featuring a list of prominent IoT speakers and thought leaders, will take place on December 9, 2015.
The Internet of Things Community, a network of over 7,500 members of IoT specialists, seeks ways to apply technology to modern every day functions. As the world’s largest CxO community, they focus and dialog on the issues facing the IoT industry, as well as plans to overcome these issues to enhance the future of the Internet of Things.
IoT Slam 2015 is geared toward technology and business executives and CxO’s. It will focus on the quickly rising Internet of Things landscape. At the virtual event, the community will benefit from a wide range of topics including Integration, security, and business models, among many others. The broad range of topics will be addressed by speakers, panels, interactive workshops and tutorials.
The inaugural event will have a keynote presentation by Sam George, a partner at Microsoft. He talk “will provide a holistic overview on the current and future state of IoT, as it relates to fusion of Mobile,” according to the event’s web site.
Other speakers include: Maarten Ectors, Vice President of IoT Ubuntu, and Dennis Juul Poulsen, General Manager of Spirent Tweakker, who will cover a variety of topics from how to make money with IoT to solving IoT connectivity challenges. Panel discussions will also be part of the agenda and the event will end with a closing keynote.
