A recently-released HfS Research report has placed Accenture in the “As-A-Service Winner’s Circle” as the most innovative company of those listed.
The report goes into more detail, citing Accenture’s vast experience over a number of industry verticals, their strengths “in large-scale complex Industrial and Manufacturing IoT,” and their notable history of Internet of Things work and experience.
Placement in the “As-a-Service Winner’s Circle” was based on IoT’s emerging nature; 55% of the total scoring for the report was linked to criteria rooted in innovation. The report defines IoT services as “the utilization of tactical execution combined with digital strategy to build solutions to business problems, create new markets, and/or increase operational efficiency”. 17 other companies were evaluated by the report, with nine of them, including Accenture, placed in the Winner’s Circle.
“This report recognizes our role as trusted strategic advisors, with a strong ecosystem helping to provide new, impactful IoT implementations that deliver value to clients across industries,” said Craig McNeil, Accenture Mobility’s IoT practice lead. “For many, it’s about starting small and proving a business case with existing data, seeing how the IoT could be used to tighten up processes or smooth out operations. Then scaling up to start collecting and analyzing additional data to identify new revenue opportunities or service lines.
