The fourth annual Builders + Innovators Summit, an event hosted by Goldman Sachs in Santa Barbara, California gathered 100 top entrepreneurs who they selected from multiple industries. The event ran October 14-15 and focused on “building great and enduring companies that reshape their industries and make the world better through innovation'” according to the event’s web site.
Goldman recognized the selected entrepreneurs for their success, as well as advised them in ways to enhance their companies. The event consisted of a wide variety of scholars including business leaders, entrepreneurs and Goldman Sachs experts that held sessions and clinics for the honorees.
David Solomon, Goldman Sach’s co-head of investment banking, said of the event: “This is an exciting time for entrepreneurs. This is the fourth year that we’ve hosted the Builders + Innovators Summit and continue to be amazed by what happens when a diverse group of seasoned and emerging business leaders – the builders and innovators – come together to discuss how to drive innovation, create jobs, and build enduring organizations.”
One of the many recognized entrepreneurs of the event, Tom Pincince, President and CEO of Digital Lumens, was “delighted to be included among the diverse list of talented entrepreneurs and leaders.” Digital Lumens is currently leading the transformation of the lighting market as a maker of LED lighting systems. These systems, with 90% energy savings, produce intelligent lighting so that customers may utilize the highest possible lighting efficiency. Pincince was recognized as one of the 100 Most Intriguing Entrepreneurs of 2015 at the Summit.
