A first for smart cleaning robot provider ECOVACS ROBOTICS and a first for the market as a whole, the cordless window cleaning robot WINBOT X is now available for sale. The robot is a major technology breakthrough on daily window-cleaning, giving the consumer an easy-to-use solution that requires only a few finger taps to work.
A user simply picks up the four pound robot, attaches it to the window they wish to clean, and turn it on. Previous window-cleaning robots used an attached cord for power instead of an internal battery like WINBOT X, limiting their movement and reach. WINBOT X’s lack of a cable means it doesn’t have to be repositioned during a job, and its intelligent movement allows it to tackle dirt and stains on different glass types.
Safety is addressed by the robot’s Tether System, which monitors the robot’s connection to the glass, and retracts if the machine’s suction cup loses pressure. Even if the machine’s 50-minute battery life runs out, this suction cup allows it to remain stuck to the glass for 30 minutes after powering down. This allows it to clean any kind of window safely, even on high buildings.
“Regularly keeping windows clean is a never-ending battle for consumers and ECOVACS realized there was a need in the market for a cordless window cleaning robot that could reach areas previously inaccessible, without its movement being restricted,” said EVOVACS ROBOTICS vice president of global channels, Johnathan Tang. “By combining advanced cleaning abilities and a Safety Tether System, our customers are now able to consistently enjoy cleaner windows than ever before.”
