For the past 25 years, deserving entrepreneurs have been named EY Entrepreneur of the Year. Do you know an innovative entrepreneur who deserves that recognition? Ernst & Young (EY), a prominent accounting and consulting firm, is hosting their annual competition to find the “the country’s most innovative entrepreneurs'” as described in their recent announcement.
EY wants to know who you want to see as a nominee for the 2015 competition. Until March 6, nominations will be accepted at https://eoy-nomination.ey.com/ for entrepreneurs who meet the following criteria:
(1) “The nominee must be an owner or manager of a private or public company who is primarily responsible for the recent performance of the company and an active member of top management for at least two years.”
(2) “The nominee’s company must be at least two years old for Emerging category candidates (companies two to five years old) and three years or more for all other categories.”
(3)” Emerging nominees need to provide detailed financial performance information for at least two years, all other nominees should provide detailed financial performance information for at least three years.”
A panel of judges comprised of previous winners and prestigious business leaders will evaluate the nominees and 25 regional winners will be announced in April. In June, a gala will be held for the 25 regional programs.
All regional winners will be evaluated for the National EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award. The national winner will be announced in November in Palm Springs.
