Rising Tide Capital, through a new partnership with the Statewide Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, is reaching out to Spanish-speaking business owners in New Jersey to provide them with entrepreneurial training, according to risingtidecapital.org.

The Jersey City-based non-profit aims to assist struggling entrepreneurs and communities to build businesses that create sustainable neighborhoods. The partnership with the Statewide Hispanic Chamber of Commerce will allow RTC to glean expertise from Chamber members and ultimately offer advanced entrepreneurial education in English and Spanish, the second-most spoken language in New Jersey.

Despite the prevalence of the Spanish speakers in New Jersey, there are few resources for Spanish-speaking entrepreneurs. RTC hopes to work to provide those resources through programs such as the Spanish-Language Community Business Academy and partnerships with institutions like the Statewide Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

Jay Savulich, Managing Programs Director for RTC, said the collaboration with the Chamber increases the impact of the organization’s programs.
