Entrepreneurs who are seeking funding are being offered the opportunity to connect with investors at the 15th Annual Silicon Valley Boomer Venture Summit being held on June 21st.  The Summit includes a Business Plan Competition that serves as a platform for startups to pitch their ventures to a panel of judges who provide critical feedback, as well as a way to choose the $10,000 grand prize winner.

The Summit with a theme of “Investment, Impact, and Opportunity in the Longevity Marketplace” draws over 400 leaders in the fields of aging and health. Given the Summit’s history of supporting entrepreneurs who have solutions to longevity challenges, the Summit is viewed as “the place where forward-thinking entrepreneurs and VCs meet to create innovative products and services for the global longevity marketplace”.

Mary Furlong, CEO and President of Mary Furlong & Associates and Executive Producer of the Summit describes the Summit’s theme of the marketplace addressing longevity needs, “”I started the Silicon Valley Summit to bring together investors, angels, industry experts, entrepreneurs and start-up companies to learn about the longevity markets. After 15 years, I am proud to say that this conference is not only the longest running event to focus on investing in this market, but is the event where key strategic and marketing partnerships are forged.”

The event also includes sessions for the presentation of research reports and on marketing. Attending investors include Toyota AI Ventures’ Jill Ford, TripleTree’s Michael Carroll, Viant Capital’s Scott Smith, and several others.

Those interested in participating in the pitch contest have until 5:00 PM ET on June 1st to submit their business plan.
