The community-wide Blockland movement in Cleveland, Ohio, announced their first Blockland Solutions Conference to further their goal of putting Cleveland at the forefront of blockchain thought leadership. Running from December 1st to December 4th, the conference boasts top-level blockchain keynotes and presentations from over 120 thought-leading speakers in the field.
The focus of the Conference is on the industries that blockchain technology will disrupt the most, such as real estate, energy, and legal sectors. Other topics will range from financial services and cryptocurrency to technical strategies and applications.
“Yes, Cleveland seems an unlikely place, but this region is well-positioned with its emerging tech sector, rich manufacturing heritage and proven ability to come together and embrace, adopt and achieve success on projects of this scale,” said Steve Santamaria, CEO of Folio Photonics and co-chair of the Blockland Thought Leadership node. “The Blockland Solutions Conference is yet another example of the great tech evolution happening in Cleveland.”
Among the speakers at the presentation are Larry Sanger, the co-founder of Wikipedia, John Donovan, from AT&T Communications, and Nick Szabo, a Cryptocurrency and Blockchain Innovator. Attendees will hear from them as well as other presenters in the over 50 case studies and learning sessions that teach how blockchain technologies solve problems for governments and organizations, while positively impacting citizens in everyday life.
