The startup’s platform was quickly embraced by marketing agencies and in-house teams.
The power of AI is unfolding across industries. With the recent funding of AirOps, marketers have a platform that builds and scales go-to-market strategies using human + AI content workflows that produce best-in-class brand content.
“AI is predicted to handle 95% of marketing work by 2027, it’s the creativity, taste, and bold vision—the remaining 5%—that will set great marketers apart,” said Alex Halliday, co-founder and CEO of AirOps. “AirOps empowers marketers to turn ambitious ideas into incredible wins.”
Halliday who previously was a venture partner at the global Accelerator SparkLabs and Product Vice President at Bungalow joined the company’s Sales Vice President Matt Hammel and Berna Gonzalez, Tech Lead at Rootstrap, to launch the AI Marketing startup in 2022.
In just two years AirOps already touts clients Anne Klein, Informa, Circle, Toys”R”Us, Deepgram, Rare Candy, and Harvard Business Publishing. The AirOps platform seamlessly integrates into existing tech stacks and can connect to CMS platforms like Webflow, Shopify, WordPress, and others, unifying the content ecosystem in one place. In addition, SEO data can be imported from tools like Semrush, push and pull content from various sources.
“We believe that today’s growth marketers must reinvent themselves by embracing AI-growth—blending ambitious strategies, the latest AI models and techniques, rapid testing, and irreplaceable human creativity,” said Halliday.
The startup has been embraced by marketing agencies and in-house teams who are now building AI-growth as a core competency.
Such early success gained the support of investors, raising $15.5 million in Series A funding led by Unusual VC, with participation from Wing VC, Founder Collective, XFund, Alt Capital, Lauryn Motamedi, David Rogier, and JD Ross.
“This new funding fuels our mission to help marketers become ‘Moonshot Marketers’ who can execute bold ideas and achieve transformative results,” said Halliday.
