Accenture, a leading global services firm, has opened the Innovation Center for Finance & Risk in New York. The Center is part of the acceleration of Accenture’s investments in innovation within the US that was announced last month.
The new center will focus on helping institutions enhance regulatory controls, achieve cost-efficient growth, and implement the newest generation of analytic and data capabilities, such as artificial intelligence, big data, and cloud computing.
Accenture assists large retail, investment, and commercial banks the world over by offering initiatives that enhance analytics-technology, data-engineering, and data-science capabilities.
This center is part of a larger plan of investment, with plans for expansion of Accenture’s existing regional network of technology delivery centers, and the construction of 10 new innovation hubs by 2020.
“The center has already enabled us to accelerate delivery of next-generation data platforms, including building the data pipelines, models and dashboards for risk, marketing and performance reporting for a number of leading financial institutions,” said the new innovation center’s lead for Accenture Analytics, Antonio Castro.
