Online Venture Capital Meeting

Adapting like so many other educational institutions the Harvard Business School has made the change to host their upcoming alternative funding event virtually.  Now in its 27th year, the Annual Venture Capital & Private Equity Conference will be held on February 6th by using technology to bring together academics, students and leading industry executives.

“As in years past, the 2021 event will feature keynote addresses and myriad panel discussions from a group of diverse noteworthy industry leaders. I thank our student leaders who, despite the challenges of hosting our first-ever virtual VCPE conference, have organized an event of highly relevant and timely topics featuring many of the leading minds in alternative investing,” said John Dionne, Senior Lecturer of Business Administration at Harvard Business School.”

The upcoming event’s agenda includes topics from the prior year such as consumer, healthcare, technology and others, while expanding it to include new topics: life sciences & biotech, ESG, seed funding, and European PE. Participating speakers and panelists in the areas of private equity and venture capital include: Hollie Haynes, Managing Partner, Luminate Capital, Anita Balaji, Managing Director, The Carlyle Group, Rebecca Kaden, General Partner, Union Square Ventures, among others.
