The annual Edison Awards named for Thomas Alva Edison who changed the world through countless innovations while holding over one thousand U.S. patents again recognized today’s great innovators in a range of industries for their new product development methods and innovative achievements.

The announced 2020 winners honored innovators and innovations who have contributed to making everyday lives better. Those recognized for changing the future of their industries were in the areas of ‘Transportation & Logistics,’ ‘Consumer Electronics & Information Technology,’ Media, Visual Communications, ‘Sports & Recreation’ and Entertainment. This includes improving the lives of consumers who use these innovative products and services, making them safer, healthier and more secure.
Award recipients are drawn from all over the world, representing Australia, Canada, Philippines, Israel, Japan, China, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Dubai, and the United States.

“The 2020 class of winners have a direct impact on all consumers. The incredible category of product winners are securing our virtual lives, accelerating commerce and educating our families,” said Frank Bonafilia, Executive Director of the Edison Awards, in a press statement.

Nominations for next year’s awards open August 1.
