Just Ice Tea line of products

The venture firm’s newly launched Fund will fuel food, beverage, and snack innovation.

Taste Tomorrow Ventures (TTV), a new early-stage venture capital firm dedicated to investing in the next generation of consumer food, beverage, and snack brands, announced the closing of its $30 million TTV Fund I.

Backed by prominent strategic investors including Ball Corporation and Advantage Solutions, the fund marks a significant step forward in shaping the future of healthy, innovative consumer packaged goods (CPG).

The venture firm’s first investment is in Just Ice Tea, one of the fastest-growing iced tea brands in the United States.  TTV is wasting no time identifying and empowering mission-driven brands redefining consumer expectations.

Venture Capital Backing for Food and Beverage Startups

Taste Tomorrow Ventures was founded by industry veterans Danny Stepper, Dino Sarti, and Scott Guthrie—collectively bringing more than 80 years of experience in building, scaling, and funding high-growth consumer brands.

As the founding team behind LA Libations, their expertise in launching functional beverages, healthy snack startups, and sustainable food companies positions TTV as a uniquely qualified investor and operating partner.

TTV Fund I is focused on early-stage and Series A companies with potential to lead the better-for-you food and beverage movement. Key areas of interest include:

  • Functional beverages
  • Plant-based snacks
  • Sustainable packaging solutions
  • Health-forward consumer brands
  • Mission-driven CPG startups

In addition to providing capital, TTV offers deep operational support, from retail and distribution strategy to brand building, supply chain optimization, and partnerships with major retailers and service providers.

Just Ice Tea: The First Strategic Investment

The firm’s first investment from the new fund Just Ice Tea is a brand co-founded by Seth Goldman—best known as co-founder of Honest Tea. Known for its commitment to organic ingredients, fair trade sourcing, and sustainability, Just Ice Tea aligns perfectly with TTV’s values of authenticity, purpose, and consumer trust.

“We couldn’t be more excited to partner with Seth Goldman and Just Ice Tea as our first investment,” said TTV Co-Founder Danny Stepper. “It’s a brand that embodies the innovation, leadership, and consumer resonance we’re looking to support.”

Just Ice Tea has quickly gained momentum as a healthier iced tea alternative in a market hungry for low-sugar, clean-label drinks.

With increasing consumer demand for better-for-you beverages, the partnership aims to accelerate the brand’s national footprint while preserving its commitment to transparency and environmental stewardship.

Backed by Strategic Powerhouses: Ball Corporation and Advantage Solutions

Taste Tomorrow Ventures is not launching quietly with backing from strategic investors: Ball Corporation, a global leader in sustainable aluminum packaging, and Advantage Solutions, a powerhouse in retail services and CPG growth.

Together they provide financial support, valuable resources and industry leverage, joining forces with TTV to unlock new levels of success for portfolio brands.

“Their belief in our vision strengthens our ability to support transformative brands and founders,” noted TTV Co-Founder Dino Sarti. “We’re proud to launch with their support—it underscores our commitment to scaling the next big names in the food and beverage industry.”

Investing in the Future of Conscious Consumerism

Consumers today—especially Gen Z and millennials—are demanding more from their brands. Transparency, sustainability, and social impact are no longer optional; they are prerequisites. TTV’s mission is to invest in brands that embody these values, pushing the food and beverage industry toward a more sustainable and ethical future.

“The next generation of consumers is looking for authenticity, transparency, and better lifestyle choices,” said Scott Guthrie, Managing Director at TTV. “Our first investment in Just Ice Tea perfectly illustrates that. We are actively seeking founders who understand that great taste, clean labels, and social responsibility must go hand in hand.”

TTV Fund I is expected to reach its final close in late summer 2025, with additional investments on the horizon in high-growth categories including functional snacks, low-sugar beverages, and clean-label food products

Looking to the Future

Taste Tomorrow Ventures is entering the market at a pivotal time when consumer packaged goods innovation is being driven by health-conscious, sustainability-minded shoppers. With their first investment in Just Ice Tea, TTV is not only deploying capital but also signaling the types of companies that will shape the next decade of food and beverage innovation.

As the fund approaches final close, all eyes will be on the next wave of investments from TTV as it builds a portfolio of brands that will taste like the future—authentic, better-for-you, and built to last.
