Tigerlabs, a micro vc fund located in Princeton, New Jersey, announced that it has become a member of Startup Grind, an international global startup community, and will host its first event on January 22, 2015 at its headquarters.

The event’s guest speaker will be Robert Levitan, a serial entrepreneur who has raised over $150 million in venture capital for various ventures throughout his career. Levitan’s entrepreneurial endeavors include his pioneering startup of iVillage in 1995 which grew to be the largest Internet based women’s community that went public and was eventually purchased by NBC Universal in 2006. His other startups and activities include Pando Networks, a cloud-based media-delivery company sold to the Xbox division of Microsoft, a recently started local search company that will be releasing an app in this spring, the co-founder of the online payment system and digital currency platform Flooz.com, the co-founder of the US operations of Dotomi, a personalized ad-targeting company, as well as helping to conceive and launch a Chinese television series.

Tigerlabs founder Bert Navarrete and David Stengle will serve as Co-Directors of Startup Grind Princeton. Events will be held monthly. Tickets for the upcoming event may be purchased at:
