Entrepreneurs seeking a range of resources to grow their startups have such an opportunity through four NYC-based accelerator programs that currently have their application period open. These programs that will be run in the coming spring and summer months typically provide access to mentors, training, working space and funding. Each program has its own application process and deadline for applying.
A brief description of each accelerator and a link to their programs is below:
- ACRE – A cleantech incubator run by Urban Future Lab that assists in the development of technologies and business models for green and smart cities
- Techstars – Among the world’s leading startup accelerators. 2 programs will take place in NYC. The first focuses on a wide-range of tech startups, the second focuses on IoT.
- Founder Institute – Idea-stage accelerator and startup launch program that provides mentorship, support, and a strong network to help entrepreneurs grow their businesses.
- Entrepreneurs Roundtable Accelerator – NYC’s largest accelerator program that combines experts in many categories across a wide range of industries to improve the growth of early-stage startups.
