The Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) is calling for award nominations of minority entrepreneurs, individuals and organizations who have had accomplishments in the areas of innovation, customer service, community involvement, and overall business growth.
Part of its 2023 40th annual National Minority Enterprise Development (MED) Week, the awards celebrate the outstanding achievements of minority entrepreneurs, as well as the individuals and organizations committed to advancing minority business enterprises (MBEs).
President Biden, as prior presidents have, will issue this year’s National MED Week Presidential Proclamation, recognizing our country’s minority entrepreneurs and minority business community as well as reaffirming the Nation’s commitment to the growth and success of minority businesses, entrepreneurs, and communities.
Minority business leaders and entrepreneurs who are selected to receive an award during The National MED Week are given “an invaluable platform to share their accomplishments”. Fifteen organizations, businesses, and individuals will be honored for their outstanding success, leadership, and commitment to advancing minority business enterprises.
Visit www.MBDA.gov for more information and to submit your nomination by June 15, 2023.
