About
Our mission is to build a world-class research-driven, teaching, and practitioner-oriented urban entrepreneurship and economic development program that transforms the city of Newark, New Jersey, and other urban centers in the state and around the world.
Programs
Our flagship program, the Entrepreneurship Pioneers Initiative (EPI), has helped over 200 small businesses (a) survive past the five-year mark (when most businesses fail), (b) increase their revenues and profits, and (c) create wealth and new jobs in urban communities.
In 2016, CUEED launched the Newark Business HUB for creative entrepreneurs in the media, arts, and entertainment industries.
