Having invested over $2.5 billion with more than 240 private equity sponsor firms, Monroe Capital LLC has been chosen as the Small Business Investment Company of the Year by the US Small Business Administration. This award was given to Monroe Capital in recognition of the outstanding achievements of its SBIC fund, including job creation, community involvement, profit and general health of small business.

As a leading provider of debt and equity co-investments to middle market companies, Monroe Capital has invested in over 500 middle market transactions. The company’s SBIC fund has invested in 33 companies, with 84% defined as small business by the SBA and 35% being minority-owned or managed. All 33 companies combined have generated over $2.2 billion in revenue and created over 11,000 jobs in 14 different states.
