LuMESH, the recently re-vamped cosmetic line created by cosmetics entrepreneur Lu Camarena Meshulam, is receiving pre-launch buzz around the world of fashion that includes a recently published article in the widely read industry publication Women’s Wear Daily Beauty Inc. The revamped collection, comprised of lip glosses and cheek tints designed to complement any skin tone, is set to launch this fall on Birchbox.com and the LuMESH web site.

Ever since she was a child, Meshulam dreamed of entering the makeup industry.

“My life-long passion for beauty and embracing others to teach them my beauty techniques began as a young girl living in Greely, Colorado,”  Meshulam shares on her web site about her almost lifelong passion. “I loved the challenge [of cosmetics], and I was determined to perfect my techniques.”

Meshulam set out to create makeup that catered to everyone, and believes she has reached that goal with the LuMESH line. The LuMESH line is intended to illuminate beauty from within and embraces people of all ethnicities because it doesn’t cover up the skin.  Meshulam’s passion for makeup helped her create the idea of a product that can highlight skin tones that other makeup lines cannot.

In the recently published edition of Women’s Wear Daily Beauty Inc. cosmetic and fashion industry veterans gave Meshulam advice on how to handle the growth of the cosmetics line. Two of them directly complimented the concept of LuMESH.

“You have a great vision for your brand in creating makeup that works for tricky-to-match skin tones,” said Ying Chu, the executive beauty director of Glamour.

“What impresses me about your business model is that you developed it with a specific consumer in mind, and it was born out of an understanding of the consumer’s needs,” said Claudia Poccia, president of Gurwitch Products.

The pre-launch publicity has generated great anticipation about the cosmetic line and its anticipated success when it hits the market in the fall.
