November 24, 2014 The design winner of the 2014 IVY Innovator Award for Design is Mike LinCEO of Fenix International Inc. Fenix is a renewable energy company that delivers electricity to their customers through sustainable meanssolar power. Their target consumers are the people who live without electricity in developing regions. Most of their offices are located in East Africa and Silicon Valley, but their products are available by shipping to the US and Canada.
The Ivy Innovator Awards are meant to showcase the ideas of new, emerging innovators with preeminent ideas in technology, film, and design. During each contest, there are five finalists and one winner. Contests are held in each of the three categories: technology, film, and design.

Beau DArcy, founder of Breakwater Chicago: Breakwaters mission is to lodge an eco-friendly, artificial island in the middle of Lake Michiganthe first floating entertainment spot with restaurants, swimming pools, a spa, and more.
Mike Albert, a Partner at Design Workshop: Design Workshop is a landscaping business firm that provides international architectural planning for affordable urban housing, local parks, and community structures.
Jia Li, founder of the clothing company bearing her name, Jia Collection: Her collection focuses on reversible clothing for women who need to quickly transition from one event to the next throughout their day.
Alexander Oshmyansky, the inventor of the PullClean Door-Handle: It is a germ-busting door handle for hospital rooms in which hand-sanitizer is dispensed upon doctors and patients moving from one room to another.
Alice Chun, founder of Solar Puff: A low-cost, inflatable, and foldable solar-generated lamp. The Solar Puff targets people around the world who live without electricity.
