A new partnership between Fira Barcelona and the Industrial Internet Consortium (IIC) is bringing the next annual IoT Solutions World Congress (IOTSWC) to Barcelona from October 16th to 18th. This fourth event brings more than 300 top-level industry speakers to discuss how the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) is transforming industries, reducing costs, and making new service revenue streams to over 14,000 visitors.
“IOTSWC will continue to explore the latest industrial IoT innovations to bring visitors the expertise and strategies they need to capitalize on IoT,” said the Industrial internet Consortium’s Executive Director, Dr. Richard Soley. “Regardless of where your organization is in its IoT journey, the Congress is where you will the gain the knowledge to move forward into the next phase of your IoT vision.”
Launching during the congress is the IIC Resource Hub, an interface to IIC’s library of knowledge as well as a web-based tool that guides users through analyzing and planning their own IIoT projects. The library is represented in IIC foundational documents, demos, testbed insights, and relationships with industry groups and standards globally.
Beyond showing the latest IIoT technologies, IOTSWC also recognizes existing work in the field with the IOT Solutions Awards. The awards focus on the fields of IoT, AI solutions, and blockchain for both public and private industry, testbed, and business transformation areas. Nominees receive their awards as part of the IOTSWC on October 17th.
