New investors are always seeking information and insight that will help improve their investment decisions.  Now with the advent of cryptocurrency, the need for guidance is even greater.  Will Smith through his venture capital firm Dreamers has invested in an investing Fintech startup called Front that will provide investors with the guidance they seek.

The free investment platform just released its new companion app to Robinhood, Coinbase, Stash, and others that helps new investors navigate their way around more complex investment vehicles. It is the first strategic investment platform using FISCO stock scoring technology—think credit score for stocks and portfolios. Users receive stock and portfolio analysis with a single, simple number to help them make better investment decisions.

Front Score technology is based on a proprietary AI algorithm fed by company financial, stock performance, ESG, and news sentiment data, and personalized for people’s portfolios.  Users receive data driven investment strategies and portfolio management that connects directly to brokers and wealth managers. The app also includes a growing peer to peer social community.

“Young and new investors alike have gotten swept up in the recent retail investing boom, but are staggeringly unprepared,” said Bam Azizi, CEO and Co-Founder at Front. “High-risk, high-reward investing antics from questionable sources are being sensationalized and, without better tools to help discern the good from the bad, people can lose their shot at financial stability. Front is the app that every investor needs to navigate the overwhelming sea of investing choices and information–to protect their financial futures.”

Founded in 2020 by a team of fintech experienced executives, Front already has over 70,000 people trusting Front with more than $500 million worth of assets connected to the app via existing brokerage accounts. Users are mostly millennial and Gen Z retail investors that are already using trading apps and are searching for better investment advice.  The platform and app is positioned to compete with top fintech companies and financial institutions and their financial technology services.

The San Francisco based investing fintech startup also announced the naming of a former executive of Soros Fund Management and the former SVP of Ellie Mae to its advisory board.

The investing fintech startup raised $4 million in funding, gaining support from Dreamers VC and others investing in fintech that includes: Facebook Co-Founder, Eduardo Saverin’s B Capital Group, Motivate VC, Alumni Venture Group, DCVC Managing Partner and Co-Founder, Matt Ocko, Kevin Mahaffey’s SNR.vc, and other notable angel investors, to change the retail investing scene.

Front is a Registered Investment Adviser (RIA) with the SEC.
