New Jersey NJ Health Foundation’s latest $1 million commitment to fund two grants programs was announced recently by foundation President James Golubieski.
NJHF, a non-profit organization funding research and innovation projects across New Jersey, partnered with The Nicholson Foundation to establish the Innovation Grants program in an effort to support the growth of innovative ideas on the path to commercialization.
The program will award grants of up to $50,000 each to researchers developing their ideas into patents or intellectual property, according to njhealthfoundation.org. Applications are currently being accepted from affiliated organizations.
Awards of up to $35,000 each will be available through the existing New Jersey Health Foundation Research Grants program, which seeks to fund early stage research projects demonstrating potential that may lead to larger grants from other organizations. The application process has not yet begun, but will be available through the NJHF website within the next few weeks.
