The CA Accelerator that serves as support to CA Technologies’ employee innovators announced another noteworthy milestone, the opening of beta registration for FreshTracks.io, the 10th startup launched from its’ incubator. FreshTracks.io is a program for scaling and monitoring containerized applications.
The CA Accelerator provides structure and funding similar to lean startup, serving as an experiment bed for continual problem solving that specifically includes close customer involvement at every stage of product development. This approach brings about the most efficient and successful way to bring products to market that people will actually use, according to the Accelerator’s web site.
FreshTracks originated from CA engineers seeking to monitor their evolving micro-services to then offer solutions to real problems experienced in monitoring and scaling containerized applications. This was accomplished by leveraging CA’s expertise in the container space, and importantly by the teams focusing on the customer experience, rather than existing legacy tools.
“Through our own experiences, we realized the need for container monitoring and made our own solution to share with others who are facing similar challenges,” said FreshTracks.io co-founder, Bob Cotton in a recent press release. “We are excited about the market opportunity in this emerging area for developers, and it was the flexibility and resources of the Accelerator program that made FreshTracks.io a reality.”
FreshTracks.io marks the fourth project from the CA Accelerator focused around containers. FreshTracks is joining other projects from the incubator like WhoZoo.io, Waffle.io, and Yipee.io at the 2017 CA World in Las Vegas.
