Each year, Deloitte, a “Big Four” professional services firm, honors the 500 fastest growing technology companies across North America from San Jose, California to Toronto, Ontario. As a leading technology awards program, The Deloitte Technology Fast 500 provides a ranking of companies in hardware, software, life sciences, telecom and clean technology many of who are disrupting industries across America.
From now until June 26, tech companies in the United States and Canada have the opportunity to apply to receive recognition as a 2015 Technology Fast 500 winner. Winners benefit from increased exposure to potential customers, investors and employees through social media coverage and various networking events.
The top two winners from 2014 include MobileIron, a mobile software company based in Mountain View, CA ranked #1 for its ability to transform global companies into Mobile First organizations; and Fuhu, Inc., a computer/peripheral company based in El Segundo, CA that created the Nabi Tablet for Kids.
Twilio, based in San Francisco, CA took the #3 spot with their global cloud API that allows developers to build detailed communications systems. “Deloitte’s Fast 500 is a great representation of the who’s who across industries,” said Lee Kirkpatrick, the CFO of Twilio. “Twilio is pleased to be part of such a strong lineup of companies and to be recognized by a firm as respected as Deloitte.”
Companies eligible to be ranked on the Fast 500 must meet requirements including being based in North America, having been in business for a minimum of four years, owning proprietary intellectual property or technology and having a growth rate of at least 100%.
