Since 2007 global dating app Zoosk has used data-based methods for real-time matchmaking across 80 countries. With the release of its brand-new and free livestreaming video community, Zoosk Live!’s members in the US, UK, Canada, and Australia now have a new and enhanced way to build their romantic and social connections.
Zoosk Live! already offers a wealth of creative livestreaming options including events, challenges as well as interactive features. One such feature is a NextDatetm speed dating game, letting audience members rate dates in real time while participants have 90 seconds to determine if they have enough in common to speak more afterwards. Another feature lets other connections flourish through public comments on videos, with an upcoming feature allowing private messaging between Zoosk members that meet while streaming on the app.
There are rewards for these content creators as well, with streamers able to receive virtual gifts from followers. These gifts can be exchanged for virtual diamonds, which can in turn be exchanged for real cash once a certain threshold is hit.
“We’re excited to bring livestreaming to Zoosk users, allowing them to connect with others in a fun social environment,” explains Spark Networks CEO, Eric Eichmann. “Zoosk Live! provides dating, streaming, and entertainment, emphasizing Zoosk’s status as a thriving community and social dating site for meaningful relationships.”
Zoosk has been in the capable hands of Spark Networks SE, the third largest public dating company in America, since 2019. Serving as one of their flagship brands, Zoosk stands alongside other high-profile dating apps like Christian Mingle, JSwipe, EliteSingles, and others which collectively provide Spark Networks with about one million monthly paying subscribers globally.
