Karen Hodges Miller is CEO and publisher at Open Door Publications, a company which specializes in helping authors navigate the world of publishing in the 21st century. The company assists s both published and first-time authors with the wide variety of skills and tasks needed to successful write, publish and market a book. 

Karen herself has written six books, both fiction and non-fiction, as well as countless newspaper and magazine articles in her 30-year career. 

Open Door Publications, founded in 2004, has published over 60 books. The company also sponsors a yearly Winter Writers’ Weekend designed to let authors meet and learn from experts in the publishing world. The next three-day event will be held in Lambertville, NJ, in March of 2018.
