The CodeLaunch Startup Expo announced that it is featuring the finalists of the CodeLaunch Competition for software application concepts on August 9th in Frisco, Texas. Aimed at innovating entrepreneurism, the accelerator is unique because it does not require a minimally viable product in order to pitch to the investors.
CodeLaunch, now entering its 5th year, is an annual seed accelerator for groups or individuals anywhere in the world with “app” ideas who seek seed funding. Even if the submission is only an idea, it is still qualified to apply, with the pitch day at the Startup Expo showcasing the best competitors.
“There are many great people, with unique ideas that struggle with product development,” commented CodeLaunch founder, Jason W. Taylor in a press release. Ensuring the competition is as all-inclusive as possible, submissions cost nothing, with no surrendered equity.
Taylor added, “We put momentum behind great ideas and launch companies.”
The five finalists for the 2017 CodeLaunch Competition and their app ideas are:
- D’Arcy Young, Honeycomb, from Dallas, TX
- Cole Oliver, CHDR, from Dallas, TX
- Roshawnna Novellus, EnrichHER, Atlanta, GA
- Sky McClure, Cortex, Denton, TX
- Daen Hodspeth, Click Ditto, Prosper, TX
