(July 21, 2014) Newark, New Jersey. Formerly an incubator resident company at the NJIT Enterprise Development Center (EDC) from 2008-2010, tech company LiveLOOK has just been purchased by tech giant Oracle. Specializing in business collaboration, LiveLOOK's featured service is its cloud-based co-browsing technology which allows business and customer reps to share computer screens with their consumers. This technology virtually eliminates any guesswork as to the assisting capabilities of the representative and the needs of the consumer. In creating a more personal level of interaction between both parties, LiveLOOK paves the way for a newer, more efficient model of economic and business relations.
NJIT EDC Executive Director Jerry Creighton was pleased to hear the news, but also notes that he had always been confident in LiveLOOK's success. "They were looking for a home to grow and among the resources we offer as an incubator is student help," Creighton said, "It was clear to me from the start that this was a tech company with a great market. LiveLOOK had a very good team able to make its case to investors."
