Project CSX Voting Underway for ZTE’s Next Device Build

Through October 19th consumers have the opportunity to select the grand prize winner of Project CSX. Project CSX is a competition to select the top mobile device concept via consumer voting from five mobile device concepts previously announced by ZTE USA. ZTE is the fourth largest US-based smart-phone manufacturer and second largest in the no-contract market.

Consumer participation in Project CSX has been overwhelmingly positive. Lixin Cheng, Chairman and CEO of ZTE USA states, “We (ZTE USA) have always put consumers first in everything we create, build, and deliver”.

The five concepts for voting are:

  1. Eye-tracking, self-adhesive phone
  2. Intelligence Smart Phone Cover
  3. Powerglove
  4. Stock Android Flagship Phone
  5. VR-Interactive Diving Mask

Cheng adds, “We (ZTE USA) believed consumers were capable of driving the R&D process and we hope that others can learn from our example so we can advance the mobile industry collectively.”

Apart from having their concept turned into a real device by ZTE, winners will have an all-expenses paid trip to the 2017 International Consumer Electronics event in Las Vegas, Nevada.
