In a little over three weeks, the top minds in financial services and blockchain technology will come together for the Distributed: Markets Blockchain Conference in Atlanta, Georgia to discuss the financial prospects in both sectors.
“Atlanta long ago earned its standing as the payments capital of the world,” Tyler Evans, CTO of event host BTC Media, said in a recent press release. “Today it is the perfect location to explore a technology that is already dramatically affecting the future of payments, capital markets, insurance and more.”
The conference, hosted by BTC Media and set to kick off at the Ritz-Carlton in Atlanta on February 27th, will consist of more than 60 of the top leaders in those business sectors, including the CEO of Overstock.com. The conference will focus on the potential that the payments, capital markets, digital assets, and insurance industries possess to transform financial technology.
“The Distributed: Markets conference answers the pressing need for opportunities to explore, network and reinforce knowledge,” David Bailey, CEO of BTC Media said.
In addition to talks from keynote speakers and specialized chats, the conference will also feature a hackathon on the 25th that will offer entrepreneurs and designers a chance to compete for prizes. Additional information, including a detailed schedule of events and registration, can be found here.
