Cloud technology is greatly improving work productivity for leading manufacturers according to an annual survey conducted by Plex Systems.  Plex Systems produced the 2016 State of Manufacturing Technology Report based on real-world data collected from 200 different manufacturing organizations. These organizations are utilizing technology in order to satisfy customer demands, increase product innovation, and improve the efficiency of operations.

According to this study, for those manufacturers connecting with the cloud, 64% of respondents felt they were better at managing the needs of customers, 55% of respondents saw an improvement of management regarding global supply chains, and 44% saw the introduction of new products as being easier.
