Created by Marcum LLP and Philadelphia SmartCEO, the Marcum Innovator of the Year award recognizes leading business pioneers who have made significant efforts to enhance efficiency in business operations through their innovations in Philadelphia. Finalists are chosen from an array of industries ranging from biotechnology to real estate.
This year’s finalist Joanne Santomauro founded Ancillare in 2006, a supply chain management company that strives to create transparency and efficiency in the supply chains of the medical, pharmaceutical and biotech industries.
Ancillare works with singular-focus supply chains of research organizations in these industries and centralizes them to improve the efficiency of their supply chain operations and make them cost effective. Joanne Santomauro spearheaded the globalization of this company over the last decade, offering innovative solutions and services to research organizations in over 100 countries.
