Service Now, an enterprise software company, recently formalized ServiceNow Ventures, a platform designed to stimulate innovation in enterprise projects. Accepting startups that build cloud-based applications and strategic technology solutions using ServiceNow, ServiceNow Ventures aims to transform the IT, security, and HR fields.
“Thousands of developers are building powerful applications and integrations that leverage machine and automation and workflow,” Vice President of ServiceNow, Dominic Phillips, said in a recent press release. “ServiceNow Ventures fuels innovative and disruptive technologies that grow and extend the ServiceNow ecosystem.”
Committed to crafting the top cloud platform for enterprise growth, ServiceNow Ventures will be hosting the CreatorCon Challenge. Competing for $500,000 in investments, startups will get the chance to jumpstart their businesses by developing applications on ServiceNow.
“The end goal for our customers is that they have pre-built, revenue generating applications on their core enterprise cloud platform that run across their organization,” Allan Leinward, CTO of ServiceNow, said in a recent press release.
Finalists will pitch their ideas at the CreatorCon developer conference in Orlando, Florida in May. In addition to being published on the ServiceNow Store, the first place winner of the competition will receive a $250,000 investment, while second and third place will receive investments of $150,000 and $100,000 respectively.
